Throughout his pastoral life Fr Philip occupied several posts within this same community such as that of promoter for new vocations, Superior General and Provincial. For the past twelve years he was carrying out missionary work in Cuba.  Pio Dalli is no newcomer to Classical, operatic and choral Music. Besides being a long standing founder member of the renowned St Julian's Choir he sang with various other choirs. He is also a soloist and as such, sang and still sings in almost all the churches and theatres in Malta and Gozo. He also had the occasion to sing as soloist in Italy.

He was Head of the Department of Maltese and he is the Director of several courses offered by the same Department. Prof Mifsud is the author of several lyrics for Maltese folk melodies. Studied management at the University of Malta and undertook training at the BBC. In the early 90s was one of the first journalists who joined RTK and was appointed Manager - Programmes in 1994.
